Here’s everything you need to know to feel informed, empowered, and excited to start your skin journey.

Before Your Appointment

For All Appointments:

Arrive 5–10 minutes early to relax and fill out any forms
Avoid alcohol, Advil, fish oil, or anything that may thin your blood for 24 hours
Come with clean skin—no makeup if possible
Bring your questions—we love educating and guiding you

For Fillers:

Avoid dental work 2 weeks before or after
Arnica tablets can help reduce bruising
No intense workouts the morning of

For Microneedling or Peels:

Pause retinoids, acids, or actives 3–5 days before
Avoid sun exposure and waxing that week

During Your Visit

You’ll be welcomed and walked through your custom treatment plan
All procedures are done by Marissa Russo, NP-C—never a tech or assistant
Everything is explained in plain English, at your pace
You’ll leave with glowing skin and a personalized aftercare plan

Aftercare - What To Expect

Botox/Dysport:

No lying down or sweating for 4–6 hours
Full results in 10–14 days
Tiny bumps or redness fade fast

Filler:

Mild swelling or bruising is normal for up to a week
No makeup or workouts for 24 hours
Final results appear in 1–2 weeks

Microneedling:

Expect redness for 1–3 days
No makeup or heat exposure for 48 hours
Glow develops gradually over weeks

Chemical Peels:

You may experience light flaking or tightness
Avoid picking, exfoliants, and sun
BioRePeel typically gives instant glow without peeling

PDGF:

Mild puffiness or redness possible
No makeup for 24 hours
Natural collagen building over time
