Marissa’s journey began working night shift in the Surgical Trauma ICU, caring for critically ill patients while quietly sacrificing moments at home. After missing milestones with her daughter and experiencing burnout, she knew she needed to build a future that aligned with both her purpose and her family. Breaking into aesthetics was not easy. She worked weekends, events, and late nights, committed to mastering her craft and becoming exceptional, not just qualified.

She founded Skin Script to create the experience she once searched for but could not find: a judgment-free, medically grounded aesthetic space built on trust, education, and real relationships, not sales pressure.
